How Fizz reports to credit bureaus
“Fizz reports your line of credit to Experian and TransUnion monthly; we do not currently report to Equifax.” This reporting supports credit-building through the revolving line of credit that powers your Fizz Card. Delinquency timeline and Safe
Freeze
-
If a daily payment is missed, Fizz’s SafeFreeze locks the card to prevent new spending until you’re current.
-
30‑day window: Fizz gives you a full month to catch up before a late mark is furnished. After 30 days past due, the delinquency may be reported to the bureaus above.
What Fizz sends to bureaus
Fizz furnishes standard tradeline data for your revolving, open‑end line of credit associated with the Fizz Card:
-
Account information (issuer/line type tied to Fizz’s partnered banks), open/closed status.
-
Payment history (on‑time payments; late/missed payments 30+ days past due).
-
Credit limit/terms as applicable to the Fizz line of credit.
Note: Closing your Fizz line of credit (e.g., after canceling membership) can negatively affect credit by reducing average age/available credit.
How to maintain positive reporting
-
Keep Daily Autopay enabled and ensure your connected bank account has sufficient funds.
-
If a payment fails, resolve it promptly to avoid hitting the 30‑day threshold.
-
Use the Fizz app’s monitoring and alerts to track activity.
